Zahhäk
Persian Mythology
Zahhāk originated as a green dragon that tormented much of Persia for centuries. Large snakes that possessed too much greed and had an affinity for majik became a dragon after a century which resulted in Zahhāk becoming a broad term for this breed of dragon rather than a singular person.
