Tengus are very protective of their mountains and have gradually come to despise humanity for how it treats the earth. They have been known to be lenient with hikers/campers but that's about it.

They have the wings and beak shape of the most common bird of their mountain. They can take a fully human form if they wish but it is rare to find them outside their territory.
